What HiFi Award Winners 2017

Our brands have been well represented at this years What HiFi awards, lets have a look at who won what.

Kicking things off, the KEF LS50 Wireless Speakers pull off a fantastic feat in picking up two 'Product Of The Year' awards on its own, taking home Awards for both the best hi-fi system and the new Hall of Fame category. The good news didn't stop there for KEF, They also bagged the speaker of the year, with the Q350 standmounts.

Other award winning speakers we stock include the floorstanding Monitor Audio Silver 200 (Best floorstanders £800-£1200), Neat Iota Alpha (Best floorstander £1200-£2000) and the Spendor A4 (Best floorstander £2000+).

Chord Electronics dominate the DAC award section once more taking home three of the five awards on offer. The new Chord Hugo 2 was announced the DAC 'Product Of The Year', with the Chord Mojo (Best DAC under £500) and 2Qute (Best DAC £500 - £1000) claiming the other two awards. Cyrus Audio were our other brand represented in the DAC category, with the Soundkey scooping the award for best USB DAC under £150.

Cyrus also claimed the award for best CD player £1000+ with the CDi.

The Roksan Blak integrated amplifier took home the 'Best stereo amplifier £2500+'.

Arcam were represented at the What HiFi awards in the shape of the Arcam rPlay winning 'Best music streamer £100-£500' and the rPhono taking home 'Best phono stage £250+'

Our brands were represented in the speaker cable and interconnect section thanks to the Chord Company, who received three awards, with the Chord Company Clearway winning 'Best speaker cable' and the C-Line and the Clearway RCA taking home the best analogue interconnect awards at their respected pricepoints.

Our portable music player brand Astell & Kern received two awards, with the AK70 MKII receiving 'Best portable music player £250-£750' and the Kann taking the 'Best portable music player £750+'

Wrapping things up is the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ear Headphones winning the 'Best portable on-ear headphones £150+'.
